Take heart!

What is it in my christian life that discourages me most?

Sharing God's words is for me an inspiration and it really gives joy to my heart when the word of God inspires someone. But, it discourages me so much when someone will find something about me, just to make a point that I have no right to do so, coz I am not perfect. But who is perfect? Only God is.

One said  this to me that why not do good deeds  in my own homecountry, where there is more poverty. That person does not know that I am doing something for the needy. That I am helping those I can in my own homecountry.
Or  that I am not an educated priest and has no right to preach God's words and so on. Well, Jesus was not an educated priest, but he preached God's words.
I am only sharing God's grace over a person like me who really needs God and his love and strength to overcome the fiery darts of the enemy and to be a person God intended me to be.

Yes, I am not perfect, but I am climbing the steps of the ladder to heaven. And it may be hard, but the prize is worth all the effort. And the veiew will be perfect on top.
And how can I stop sharing God's goodness when I feel and see that it overflows in my life? And to many lives.

Thanks God for reminding me of his words: Take heart, I have overcome the world. If Jesus did, then with him in me, I can also overcome the world. So do you!

When Jesus was on earth, even his own family was not his followers to begin with, well not all of them. I don't know how Jesus might felt about it then. But, thanks God, their eyes were opened at the end.

How about you? Discouraged? Struggling to fight over the world? Ready to give up? Don't! Take heart. The world that has you so discouraged is the same one Jesus overcome!

Remember: Christ overcome the world so it wouldn't overcome us!

  2. Care not for what they say as long as yo know in your heart you are doing what you feel is right and Godly. We do not need to tell the world how we help others, we do them in our own ways. We do not need to be religiously ordained to share the Words of the Lord. When our heart speaks, the wisdom comes out not because we memorized verses but because we are speaking with love. Keep up your spirit and encourage more with your wisdom.

  4. Hello Joy
Nice pictures you show. I agree to the blogging takes time. I started blogging in April 2011, and had a transitional two blogging as you. In July 2012, I chose to delete the one and only blogging for My fotoblog.Det is FUN blogging, but it takes much of your time ...... like everything else in life, it is important to prioritize. It is in real life things happen. Wish you a good day :) Hugs Hanne Bente

Yes, it takes really much time, but much fun.
You are right. We need to prioritize. Live and blog, not the other way around:)

  5. That is so true, Sis Joy! When we follow after Christ, we can be persecuted, ridiculed and questioned. Myself, I have been called a hypocrite just because I declared that when I die I am sure I will go to heaven. I am so sad over the hardness of some people who do not welcome the gospel of Christ in their hearts.

But continue to do your share of building His Kingdom for His glory and honor. Time will come that they will understand.
