M-A-R-CH

This month is really special to me! Why? Because I was born in this month and also it is the begining of springtime. And it means sprouting of new life everywhere after a long cold and dark winter.
Feels like my life. Even though I am turning 51, I feel that my life has just begun.

How can I describe myself  now?

Actually, my real name is Ligaya, means Joy in English. I am really a jolly person, for now. My life  was miserable before and I find it difficult to be merry. What changes me and my life? I found the source of life, light and blessings.

                       So my name is Ligaya and 
                                              
                                        L is for love

God's love. Jesus touched me, the unclean one and washes every dirt in my soul, body and spirit.

                                              I is for inadequacy

Jesus  turned what seems to be inadequte in me into more than enough.


                                                               G is is for

                           God has given me the gift of salvation.

                                               A is for

                  God showed me the abundance of his grace.

                                             Y is for yoke

                               Jesus carried my yoke upon  his shoulders.

 God said that I must not be afraid if I can't understand everything. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. As long as I walk with him, I can walk through every circumstances that comes along the way.

That is why now I am a happy woman. Whatever happens I will be in the hands of God who loves me  despite who I am and what I have done. The old Ligaya was gone. Through God I have become a new one. Joy to the fullest.


And since the title of this entry is M-A-R-C-H, I look for inspiration  from the Holy scripture. So:

                       Spiritual maturity is not instant.

                             All are accountable to God

R- Is for refuge

God is 

C- is for change

God never changes

H- Happiness

Lasting happiness

     M- Maturity

            A- Accountability

R- Refuge

C- Change

  H- Happiness
